Tenecterel 40mg Injection Kit belongs to a group of medicines called thrombolytic agents. It is used in the emergency treatment of heart attack. It helps to dissolve blood clots that have formed in the blood vessels of the heart.

Tenecterel 40mg Injection Kit is an injectable drug, given directly into a vein and it is given by a doctor as soon as possible after the first signs of a heart attack. Your breathing, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vital signs will be watched closely. You may be given another medicine to stop blood clotting at the same time or after the treatment.

The most common side effect of this medicine is bleeding. It may cause injection site bleeding, nosebleeds, blood in the stool, blood in the urine, or gastrointestinal bleeding. While on treatment with this medicine, you should be careful while shaving, cutting nails, or using sharp objects.

This drug needs to be administered with care by an expert and is not suitable for everyone. There is a long list of situations where you will not be given Tenecterel 40mg Injection Kit including if you’ve had a head injury or surgery on your brain or spinal cord and any current bleeding anywhere in your body. Your healthcare team will need to know a lot about your medical history before giving you this medicine.

Also, it is used to treat pneumonia, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, gynecological infections, skin infections, meningitis, and sepsis. Harmful bacteria release toxins that harm tissues and cause illness. This medicine works by preventing bacteria from forming their protective cover, which is crucial for their survival. Sulbactam inhibits bacterial enzymes that can deactivate Meropenem. Meropenem may be used to manage neutropenic patients with fever suspected to be due to a bacterial infection. 

Do not consume Meroplan S 1.5gm injection if you are allergic to Meropenem, Sulbactam, Penicillins, Cephalosporins, Carbapenems, or any of the ingredients in the medication. Before starting the treatment, notify your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or have experienced severe diarrhea after taking other antibiotics. 

The common side effects of Meroplan S 1.5gm injection are headache, stomach pain, being sick, increased numbers of platelets in the blood, and diarrhea. Before starting the treatment, notify your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. Inform your doctor if you are on a salt-controlled diet. While you are on treatment, it is possible to have a positive Coombs test, indicating the presence of antibodies that may affect red blood cells; hence, your doctor may recommend blood tests to monitor your blood cell count and kidney function.

Darbecon 40 mcg Injection belongs to the class of medication called 'blood-forming agent'  primarily used to treat anaemia (low red blood cell count) in person with long-term serious (chronic) kidney disease and persons receiving chemotherapy for some types of cancer (except for bone marrow or blood cells' cancer). Darbecon 40 mcg Injection helps to reverse anaemia and reduce the need for blood transfusion. Anaemia occurs when the body has a lower amount of red blood cells or haemoglobin. In chronic kidney disease, the kidney gets damaged and doesn't filter the blood, leading to anaemia.

Darbecon 40 mcg Injection contains a protein 'Darbepoetin alfa' which works by providing signals to the bone marrow to make more red blood cells. Darbecon 40 mcg Injection is a biologic response modifier and erythropoiesis-stimulating protein. In chronic kidney disease, when the kidney fails to produce sufficient 'erythropoietin protein' which aids in the formation of red blood cells, Darbecon 40 mcg Injection stimulates the production of this protein in the bone marrow. 

Darbecon 40 mcg Injection will be injected by the healthcare provider. Do not self-administer. The most common side effects of Darbecon 40 mcg Injection are shortness of breath,  cough, low blood pressure during dialysis, headache, body aches, diarrhoea, injection site pain and abdominal pain. Most of these sides effects of Darbecon 40 mcg Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

If you have uncontrolled/untreated high blood pressure or red cell aplasia (a type of anaemia) due to darbepoetin alfa or epoetin alfa, please inform your doctor before taking Darbecon 40 mcg Injection to avoid any complications. Also, mention all the other medications you are taking to affect the way Darbecon 40 mcg Injection works. Inform your doctor immediately, if you feel weak, lightheaded, tired, or short of breath, or if your skin looks pale as it may be signs that the body has stopped responding to Darbecon 40 mcg Injection .

It is administered to replace lost blood or body fluids due to conditions such as excessive bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis. It helps restore and maintain blood volume. This medicine can be given to both adults and children. Albumin is a protein that helps maintain the osmotic pressure between the blood vessels and tissue. Your physician may also monitor your electrolyte levels to assess the status of your blood circulatory functions. Additionally, they will closely track your urine output, pulse rate, blood pressure, and hemoglobin levels throughout the treatment with this medicine.
